2 - Genoa halyard
A genoa halyard should have a low elongation. This is required for properly trimming your sail: when wind increases, sail should stay flat. For cruising polyester ropes are a good choice. More demanding cruisers should go for ropes with less elongation. Ropes with Dyneema® cores are in this case recommended.
